The design makes transformation quick and smooth, without the need for snaps or special connections. As a stand, it sits firmly on the floor putting spare sticks within arm’s reach. Folded up, the low-profile bag is a lightweight, secure way to transport drumsticks.
DW Icon Snare Drums
DW Drums’ Collector’s Series Icon Snare Drums pay tribute to three of the most iconic drummers—Roger Taylor, Neil Peart, and Nick Mason. The drum size and shell configurations are designed as played by each artist. Each features a painstakingly laser-cut, hand-inlayed image created from exotic wood veneers. The Queen drum (pictured) features a crest designed by Freddie Mercury and 24K gold-plated hardware. Neil Peart’s drum recreates the Time Machine motif in wood and the Nick Mason drum recreates the The Dark Side of the Moon prism and waveform image. Each comes with a snare bag, certificate of authenticity, and detailed description of the woods used.

Matthew Kenney
Raised an only child, Matthew Kenney of Edgewood, Kentucky, was tasked with finding ways to entertain himself. The baby grand piano in his parents’ sitting room was his first inspiration. He began piano lessons in the third grade, but bored with the formal training, he quit after six months. Instead, he played by ear, learning everything from commercial jingles to the pop songs on his mom’s favorite radio station.
