Community Video: Trey Connor – Hold On

Trey Connor started off playing guitar when he was eleven after stereotypically being inspired by the video game Guitar Hero. It wasn’t until he was thirteen when he tried singing. Trey picked up the bass and drums along the way and really got into writing music. After playing the local coffee shop circuit for a few years, he started his first fairly successful rock band, Bulletproof Snow. They received the Detroit Music Awards People’s Choice Award and won a slot in the 2012 Rockstar Uproar festival at DTE music theatre.

After high school, he was recruited to be on season ten of NBC’s “The Voice.” Although all four teams filled up before he performed his blind audition, he came home with better training and incredibly talented, life-long friends. He recorded his first solo EP as a pop/rock artist soon after and has put all his time and energy into his music ever since.
