With the HBO documentary series Sonic Highways coming out Friday (Oct. 17th), The Foot Fighters played a small gig at the premier of the first episode. The documentary is directed by Dave Grohl, lead singer of the Foo Fighters, and it features the band as they created their next album with the same name Sonic Highways. They traveled the country interviewing other musicians and turned those stories into songs.
“This is has been like two years in the making. We started putting thsi together a long time ago,” Grohl stated. “The idea is that we really want to inspire people to fall in love with music, just as we did when we were young.”
