Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Bassist Flea Promises New Album is ‘Super Danceable’

Red Hot Chili Pepper’s bassist Flea promises new album is “super danceable.” A lot of that has to do with the band’s chemistry, and getting a new guitar player takes some time to bond. Now that Josh Kilinghoffer has been with the band for some time Flea reports “we’ve been writing and rehearsing, rolling up our sleeves, getting in the studio and doing it. We’re nearly finished writing. We’ll go in the studio sometime in the next couple of months.”

Flea also claims the band has written over 30 songs but don’t expect them all on the album. However, there is always a chance for a second bonus album with the extra songs. You never know.

Flea says the songs are, “Cool. It’s super danceable, funky s**t and some real introspective, pretty stuff. It feels good, man, and it’s fun to play it.”

Sadly there is no set release date for the album, but Flea says, “I would hope that in a  year from now, we have a record out and we’re on a world tour.”
