Making Music Mags 2018 NAMM Experience

2018 proved to be the biggest year ever for this year’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. For starters, the square-footage of this colossal convention venue increased by about a third with the expansion of their facilities, and also by digging-in even further to the adjacent hotel ballrooms and meeting spaces. The ever-bustling show featured music products and musicians from all over the world. We saw all the classic gear, improvements on traditions and truly innovative gear that will shape the future of how musicians make music.

This post will share with you, a bit of the general experience. Sort of a sneak peek into this exclusive event. As one strolls and navigates the through NAMM Show they might often stumble upon musicians visiting booths in a mutually endorsing fashion. Sometimes you know who they are and sometimes you discover a new favorite artist. In the past, we’ve seen Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Bootsy Collins, Steve Morse, The Appice brothers, Elton John, Lee Sklar, Michael McDonald, Nathan East, Bernard Purdy, Muriel Anderson…. it goes on an an. We caught a few to share with you.
