Deer Park Avenue is a rock band founded by sisters Sarah and Stephanie Snyder, musicians, music bloggers, and voting members of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs®). Growing up with a wide variety of influences, they went into writing and journalism before forming a band together.
Deer Park Avenue was launched into the public eye after winning the Hard Rock Cafe (Washington, D.C.) battle of the bands. Their EP Stop & Go was nominated for many independent music awards and has been played on the radio in the U.S. and overseas.
Their self-titled debut album was released in June 2016 – a high-energy blast down the highways of California. The band worked with renowned producer and bassist Matt Bissonette (Elton John, Brian Wilson, Rick Springfield, Don Henley). Their track “Countdown” features GRAMMY Award-winning drummer Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Santana, Ringo Starr), playing double drums with Stephanie.
Deer Park Avenue share their time between Los Angeles and Germany. They are currently in the studio, working on their new album, due for release Fall 2018.
The band is proud to endorse Audix Microphones, Alvarez Guitars, Dixon Drums, Epiphone, TRX Cymbals, KickPort, Reference Cables, and Sonas Denim.
