The Women’s International Music Network Debuts ‘She Rocks’ Spotlight Series

Weekly online series spotlights and supports the artist community with performances featuring top musicians and up-and-comers live streamed in partnership with Parade.com

The Women’s International Music Network (The WiMN) announces the debut of the She Rocks Spotlight Series. This new livestream series spotlights a diverse collection of artists – from up-and-comers to chart-topping sensations – while supporting the artist community.

The series is presented in partnership with Parade Media and kicks off on Thursday, April 16, at 8 pm Eastern / 5 pm Pacific, with Los Angeles innovative singer/songwriter Beatie Wolfe as the first headliner on a bill with local artists Gigi Rich and Jessie Clement. The series will continue each Thursday at the same time with future headliners that include Tal Wilkenfeld (April 23), Shelly Peiken (April 30), Lzzy Hale of Halestorm (May 7), Lisa Loeb (May 14), and many more.

Each episode will open with two rising artists curated by the WiMN, followed by an iconic veteran performer. Musicians can submit to be selected to perform by going here. Viewers are encouraged to donate via thewimn.com/donate-2 on behalf of the performers in order to help support the artist community. Funds collected will aid the performers and the Musicares COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Episodes will be livestreamed on multiple platforms including Parade’s Facebook page and website, plus The Women’s International Music Network Facebook  and YouTube pages.

The show is hosted by Laura B. Whitmore, founder of the Women’s International Music Network and the She Rocks Awards. She reflects, “Showcasing extraordinary female talent has always been one of the WiMN’s goals – from the She Rocks Podcast, to our She Rocks showcases, and of course our flagship She Rocks Awards. With this new live stream series, we seek to expose and support musicians during these challenging times.”
