Having performed over 400 shows across the USA and Canada in the last four years alone, The Wilderness are one of the next biggest bands you haven’t heard yet.
This sextet has a massive and mighty sound – a propulsive and potent indie rock fusion that has earned them comparisons to Bruce Springsteen, Mumford & Sons, The National and The Lumineers.
A truly international band comprised of a Brit, a Frenchman, two Americans and two Canadians, The Wilderness (Kingston, ON, Canada) formed in 2015. With one independently released studio recordings to their credit – Seminary Road (2018), along with four singles – “Virginia Sapphire” (2019), “Fall (Despite What You Do)” (2019), “Dancing In The Dive Bars” (2018), “Hurry Up And Wait” (2018) – The Wilderness are currently touring in support of their latest release while, simultaneously, creating the songs that will comprise their next full-length album and readying to hit the studio in 2020.
Early 2020 sees The Wilderness laser focused on North American and European touring and showcase opportunities, building a dedicated team for that side of the pond and continuing to build their fanbase the old fashioned way – through their sound, their live performance, their work ethic and, frankly, just being really good dudes.
