pBone plastic trombone
The pBone plastic trombone has been making the rounds in high schools and colleges across the US. Backed by British trombone soloist, bandleader, and educator Jiggs Whigham, it’s available in a wide variety of school colors. These trombones make marching less a chore and more fun, and can inexpensively add new sounds to your next gig.
pBone is available in two sizes. The pBone mini, a smaller version pitched to Eb, is ideal for travel, children, and smaller players, while the Jiggs pBone is played just like a standard tenor trombone in Bb. pBone is made by Warwick Music Ltd. and is distributed by Conn-Selmer in the US. Musicians from Mumford and Sons to Karman have been seen playing pBones in their shows.
MSRP: $159 (Jiggs)/$129 (mini)
