About Us

Making Music Magazine Mission
Our mission is global as we embrace the idea that music is the planet’s only universal language (thanks to math). Simultaneously embedded in the digital age we can now connect globally to help and encourage each other to grow as musicians, share it as music lovers, and become more enriched, happier people through this community. We are all about connecting the world through music.

MakingMusicMag.com
This is where we live. It’s not so much about “what we do” as it is “what we live.” And we’re more excited than ever as we roll into 2019 because we’re growing rapidly due to our results-driven passion. To support our plan for growth, we’ve added social media and video experts to our team with the goal of becoming a dominating presence on these platforms—with scores of bloggers already contributing from around the world.

In our new momentum, we’re featuring articles, blogs, and video containing insight, tips, and demonstrations regarding music theory, music health, instruments, gear, testimonials, music travel destinations, and more. We’re developing a section on historical information. We send weekly email newsletters driving engaged users back to our website. We engage heavily on social media channels with a new fortified plan to exploit the engagement offered by YouTube.

I am helping a fabulous music camp for kids build a website. Would it be OK to use your Circle of Fifths diagram to illustrate one of our blog posts? I will be happy to give you photo credit and a link to your website within the post. People who read our blog include the teachers, counselors, campers and their parents. We would be very grateful for the favor.

I was going to subscribe for my local library, but just read there is no longer a print version.
I use to love the print copies along with the once offered “Making Music Magazine” t-shirt.
Very unfortunate!
