Music started for Alex Di Leo when his grandma randomly gifted him an acoustic guitar for his 10th birthday. Two years later he put a band together with some friends to enter the 5th-grade talent show and they ended up winning. After the band broke up in his final year of high school, Alex then spent the next two years writing and recording songs trying to find the sound he was hearing in his head.
Alex Di Leo finally found a producer that understood what he was hearing, and at the end of 2016, he released his first EP “So We Go”. In 2017, he signed with Silent Majority Group, an indie label owned by Jeff Hanson (Paramore, Creed, Framing Hanley). Since then he’s toured the west coast and a few of the dates included The Plain White T’s. A few months later he played the Riptide Music Festival, the Florida Music Festival, and SunFest. He also played SXSW for the first time this past March and will most likely be back next year.
Alex Di Leo just released two singles, “Brooklyn Bridge” & “Promise”, from his upcoming EP. The EP ‘Strange Open Land’, will be released in June.
