President Obama Reveals His Playlists

Last week the White House unveiled two handpicked playlists of songs on the music subscription service Spotify that it said were handpicked by President Obama. And it announced that other playlists from administrative officials will follow. The president’s first playlist, “Vol. 1 Summer Day” includes Motown classics, as well as some Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, and Coldplay, along hip-hop and R&B. The second list includes John Coltrane, Beyoncé, Mos Def, and Otis Redding, among others.
