The 38-minute track is entirely sampled from a washing machine—to be more precise, a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II. But, this isn’t really a novelty for Matmos; the duo’s previous albums include amplified crayfish nerve tissue, freshly cut human hair, and the sounds of surgery.
