Peavey 50th Anniversary Amplifiers
Peavey is celebrating its golden anniversary by offering two limited-edition commemorative amplifiers. The 50th anniversary 6505 Plus head is housed in a special gold chassis and features 120 watts; six 12AX7s; four 6L6s; footswitchable lead/rhythm channels; effects loop; three-band EQ; resonance and presence controls; and four, eight, or 16 ohms. The 50th anniversary 30 112 combo offers the same specifications as the revered classic tweed model, but in a striking black Tolex and gold chassis. Features include: genuine spring reverb with level control; pre- and post-gain controls on lead channel; external speaker capability; optional footswitches; 30 watts (rms) into 16 or eight ohms; two-channel preamp; footswitchable channels, reverb, and boost; four EL84s, three 12AX7s; 12-inch Blue Marvel speaker; and effects loop. Models are being produced in limited quantities and will only be available through 2015.
Peavey 6505 MH Micro Head Guitar Amplifier
The all-tube 6505MH Micro Head Guitar Amplifier from Peavey produces legendary tones in a portable package. The 6505 has two channels that share EQ, lush reverb, and an effects loop, all footswitchable. Peavey TSI tube monitoring keeps you appraised of tube status, and identifies which tube needs replacing. An ideal tool for recording or performing in smaller venues, the rear panel features Microphone Simulated Direct Interface with XLR output and USB out, speaker defeat switch, and a three-position power attenuator switch.
Peavey Classic 20 MH Micro Head Guitar Amplifier
The latest in Peavey’s Classic series, the 20 MH micro head guitar amplifier, provides classic Peavey tone in a highly portable package. Powered by two EL34 power tubes and three preamp tubes, Classic 20 has two channels that share a three-band EQ, plus lush reverb and effects loop. TSI tube monitoring alerts players of power tube status, and in the event of necessary replacement, identifies the tube. Rear panel features include a Microphone Simulated Direct Interface with XLR output and USB out, speaker defeat switch, and three-position power attenuator switch.
Peavey MiniMAX 500-Watt Bass Amplifier Head
Delivering 500 watts of rich sound in a 5.6-pound package, the Peavey MiniMAX 500 is an affordable solution to provide a huge array of tones for studio or live settings. MiniMAX uses DDT speaker protection and psychoacoustic low-end enhancement to add bass without overburdening speakers. It also features three-band EQ with Punch, Mid-shift and Bright controls, a built-in chromatic tuner, and pre-gain control with TransTube gain boost for tube-like crunch. The back panel allows easy connectivity to effects and sound reinforcement. MiniMAX comes with a carrying bag.
Peavey Headliner 1000 Bass Head
For powerful and innovative tone, Peavey Headliner 1000 Bass Head delivers superior reliability in a lightweight (10-pound), rack-mountable package. Seven-band graphic EQ, spaced at optimized frequencies, provides comprehensive tone shaping. A built-in optical compressor with level control and bypass allow just the right amount of compression. It also features Crunch to add a vintage tube effect, Bright and Contour Switches, an effects loop, master volume, and headphone out. Its XLR direct interface can route the signal to house sound systems or recording devices.
Peavey MiniMEGA 1000 Watt Bass Amplifier Head
Ideal for both live and studio settings, Peavey MiniMEGA delivers a classic Peavey full rich tone in a compact package weighing just nine pounds. KOSMOS enhancement provides increased bass impact, while psychoacoustic low-end enhancement adds bass without overburdening the speakers. Peavey says its VYPYR Pro 100 may be the most innovative, advanced, and versatile modeling amplifier ever created. It uses four stages of excusive TransTube analog gain to create realistic sounding distortion. VYPYR Pro 100’s digital processor can offer an almost limitless combination of additional stompboxes, “rack” effects, amplifiers, and even instrument models, with the ability to run up to four models in parallel.
